Depression has a lot of symptoms.
The first symptom is a feeling of hopelessness. This means that a person feels like nothing is ever going to go right in their life and there is nothing that they can do about it to make it any better.
The second symptom is a lack of interest. This is when a person no longer likes to do some of the activities that they used to do. This applies to hobbies, social activities, and even sex. The person no longer feels any joy from the activities that they once loved to do.
The third symptom is a loss of or a increase in appetite. This means that a person no longer feels like eating or they eat all the time. This will eventually lead to a significant weight gain or weight loss.

The fourth symptom is no energy. This means that a person who is usually fill of energy will no longer have the energy to do things that they once did. The person is feel fatigued and physically drained. The person will not be able to do the smallest of tasks without feeling exhausted. It will seem like it will take them forever to do the task.
